When can I move in?
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime during normal access hours.
How long do I have to sign up for?
We offer month–to–month leases, unless the customer requests otherwise. You can also inquire about our discounts for customers who sign a year lease or longer.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
We require a valid government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport). Contact us to start renting your self-storage unit today!
Will I need to insure the things I put into my storage unit?
Yes. You are responsible for the things you store at Amodio and we recommend that you have insurance. You may be covered under your homeowners policy – check with your insurance agent to be sure. If not, you can purchase affordable storage insurance at the Amodio office.
When can I access my unit?
Your electronic gate code provides you access to your unit from 7am to 7pm every day of the year!
How do I move out?
The move out process is easy – just empty your storage unit, take your lock off, and let us know that you’re leaving. We’ll close out your account that day. As a courtesy, we ask that you give us notice at least 10 days before your intended vacate date.
Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?
No. At the time of signing you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit during normal access hours.
How do I make a payment?
We recommend that you enroll in the “auto-pay” program at the time of rental. We simply charge your credit/debit card each month when the rent is due. Never worry! Never late! You can also pay in our office, by phone or mail.
What types of payments do you accept?
Checks, cash, money orders, and major credit/debit cards.
Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?
Yes. We sell various moving supplies in our office. We also sell boxes by “The Bundle”!
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
You can either use our Space Estimator on our website or call our managercall our manager for assistance. Because you know best how much “stuff” you need to store, we encourage you to visit us and view the different sizes so we can select the best unit for you.
Can I stop by to view the facility and storage spaces or do I need an appointment?
We encourage appointments but it’s not required. Stop by anytime during our office hours, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 12pm.
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Hazardous or toxic materials, flammable or combustible liquids, explosives and gases are prohibited. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
Do you have handcarts or dollies available at your facility?
Absolutely, and you’re welcome to use them whenever you’re at Amodio.
